Juvéderm vs Juvelook: where does Lenisna fit?

Similar-sounding names can lead you to very different appointments. Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid filler family. Juvelook is a PDLLA and hyaluronic acid collagen-stimulating product. Lenisna, also called Juvelook Volume at our clinic, has a different role from standard Juvelook.

If you have heard a name in a video, translated it from another language or saved a photograph of a box, this guide helps you ask for the right information before booking in London.

The three names, explained simply

Juvéderm

A collection of injectable hyaluronic acid gels. Different products are selected for goals such as lip shape, facial contour or replacing lost volume. Ask which named Juvéderm product is proposed, not only the family name.

Juvelook

A product combining poly-D,L-lactic acid, or PDLLA, with hyaluronic acid. At our clinic, standard Juvelook is discussed for skin-quality goals such as texture, fine lines and selected under-eye concerns.

Lenisna / Juvelook Volume

A related collagen-stimulating formulation considered for more volume-focused support. The formulation and intended placement differ from standard Juvelook. “Volume” does not mean that it is a Juvéderm product.

Why the distinction matters when you book

“I would like Juvelook” and “I would like Juvéderm” should start different conversations. Someone hoping to refine lip shape may need a discussion about a suitable filler. Someone asking about crepey texture or pores may be looking for a skin-quality treatment. The name you remember is useful, but the change you want to see is even more helpful.

Describe the area and goal together: smoother-looking under-eye skin, more cheek support, softer facial lines or a more hydrated appearance. Your doctor can then explain the product category and the reason for the recommendation. This keeps the appointment focused on your features rather than a name chosen from a search result.

What should you look for on the product label?

The complete name

Keep the spelling and any extra words visible. “Juvelook Volume” contains information that is lost if a translation app shortens the name to “Juvelook”. A clear photograph is often more useful than a phonetic spelling.

The product format

A vial, a prefilled syringe and a prepared treatment amount are different things. Ask what the quoted appointment includes and how the product will be used for your treatment area.

The treatment purpose

Ask whether the plan primarily concerns skin quality, collagen support or facial contour. Two products can include hyaluronic acid while having different formulations and treatment roles.

Does “Volume” always mean the same treatment?

No. A word describing volume can appear in different product families and in general treatment descriptions. It is not enough to identify an injectable. Juvéderm VOLUMA is a named hyaluronic acid filler; Juvelook Volume is a name used for a related PDLLA-based formulation. They should not be substituted simply because both names contain a similar word.

For the same reason, “skin booster” is a broad category rather than a complete product identity. A useful quotation names the product, area, planned amount and total price. You can ask for those details in writing before deciding.

Booking in another language

If you are searching from Chinese, Korean or another language, keep the original English product name alongside your translated question. Bring the screenshot or packaging photograph that prompted your interest. Our team uses translation apps to support communication; please tell us if any part of an explanation is unclear.

You do not need to arrive with a product selected. At our King’s Cross clinic, we can begin with your skin goals and explain the options in plain language, including comfort measures, recovery and complimentary skincare advice. Injection treatments can cause swelling, bruising or tenderness, and the product-specific risks belong in the consultation.
