Rejuran I for the eye area

Rejuran I is the eye-area formulation in our polynucleotide treatment range. It is considered for fine lines, crepey-looking texture and delicate skin around the eyes when the aim is gradual skin-quality improvement rather than added volume.

At London Finsbury Clinic, we reserve eye-area Rejuran treatment for Rejuran I. Your doctor assesses upper and lower eyelid concerns separately and explains whether either area is appropriate to treat. Dark circles can relate to pigmentation, blood vessels, shadowing or hollowness, so Rejuran I is not the answer to every under-eye concern.

Our eye-area option includes 1cc (1ml) per session. This may be sufficient for the agreed eye-area plan; coverage of both upper and lower eyelids is assessed individually. It is not a guarantee that every area will be treated in one visit.

Rejuran S for acne scars and facial texture

Rejuran S is a more viscous polynucleotide formulation used in selected acne-scar treatment plans. It may help improve the appearance of uneven facial texture and depressed scars, with treatment selected according to the shape, depth and condition of each scar.

We assess active acne and any tendency to pigmentation before recommending treatment. Some scars need other procedures alongside, or instead of, Rejuran S. Our aim is progressive improvement in skin appearance; we do not promise complete scar removal. At our clinic, this option is for facial areas outside the eye area.

Rejuran PN, also known as Rejuran Healer, is a polynucleotide treatment for people concerned about fine lines, uneven texture and reduced skin elasticity. It focuses on skin quality rather than changing facial shape or providing the contouring effect of a volumising filler.

Rejuran HB for hydration and skin quality

Rejuran HB is the hydration-focused option in our Rejuran range. It combines polynucleotides with hyaluronic acid and may be considered for dry-feeling, dull-looking facial skin and fine lines when a doctor recommends injectable skin-quality treatment.

The manufacturer’s HB Plus formulation also contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic. We check the exact product and your allergy history before treatment. What is Rejuran?

Is Rejuran painful?

You may still feel brief pinching, pressure or stinging. Sensitivity varies by person and area; we check in with you and can pause.

Is numbing included in the appointment?

We plan time for topical numbing, usually around 30 minutes where appropriate. Your doctor checks allergies and skin condition first and follows the anaesthetic product instructions. Please allow additional time for consultation, preparation, injections and aftercare advice.

Can Rejuran help under-eye dark circles?

Rejuran I may be considered when fine lines or thin, crepey-looking skin contribute to a tired appearance. Dark circles can also relate to pigmentation, visible vessels, anatomy or lifestyle. It is not a universal dark-circle treatment and does not directly replace lost volume.

Can Rejuran S remove acne scars?

Rejuran S may form part of a plan to improve the appearance of selected depressed acne scars. It does not guarantee scar removal. Scar pattern, depth and active acne determine whether a different treatment or a carefully sequenced combination is more appropriate.

Is Rejuran the same as dermal filler?

Our Rejuran plans focus on skin quality rather than shaping lips, cheeks or the jawline. Rejuran HB contains hyaluronic acid, but it should not be treated as equivalent to a volumising facial-filler procedure. Your doctor will explain what the selected product can and cannot achieve.

How is Rejuran different from Juvelook?

Rejuran is a PN-based range. Juvelook uses PDLLA with hyaluronic acid and is used in collagen-stimulating treatment plans. They are different products with different considerations; one is not automatically better. We choose according to the concern, examination and desired outcome.

How many sessions will I need?

We list single visits and three-session courses. A course is not necessary for everyone, and buying a package does not guarantee a particular result. Your doctor recommends the number and spacing of visits, then reviews how your skin responds.

When will I see results, and how long will they last?

Changes in skin appearance are usually assessed over the following weeks and across a course where recommended. Response and duration vary with the formulation, area, baseline skin condition and aftercare. Temporary swelling immediately after treatment should not be mistaken for the final result. Maintenance is discussed after review.

What downtime should I expect?

Small raised injection bumps, redness, tenderness, swelling and bruising can occur. These often settle over the following days, although bruising or swelling can last longer. Leave time before important events and follow your individual aftercare instructions.

What are the risks?

Alongside temporary injection-site effects, risks include infection, allergic reactions and persistent lumps or inflammation. Your clinician discusses product-specific and injection-related risks before consent. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, visual symptoms, severe worsening pain or concerning skin-colour changes after treatment.

Who may not be suitable for Rejuran?

Tell your doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding, fish or product-component allergies, reactions to local anaesthetic, active skin infection or inflammation, medical conditions, medicines and previous injectable treatments. Treatment may be deferred or an alternative recommended. Do not stop prescribed medication without advice from its prescriber.

Is Rejuran suitable for Asian skin?

It can be considered for a range of skin tones, including Asian skin, after individual assessment. We take pigmentation tendency, sensitivity, previous treatments and recovery into account. Ethnicity alone does not determine suitability or the right product.

Can Rejuran be combined with other treatments?

Sometimes. We may discuss a broader plan involving skincare or other aesthetic treatments when they address different concerns. Product choice and timing are individual; combining procedures does not automatically improve outcomes. We do not promise a single combination will work best for everyone.

What should I do after treatment?

Follow the written advice given by your clinician, keep the area clean and avoid rubbing or applying pressure unless instructed. Ask when to resume makeup, exercise, heat exposure and your usual skincare. Contact the clinic if symptoms worsen or recovery differs from the advice you received.
