Nasal base & nasolabial fold filler in London FAQs
What causes nasal-base and nasolabial-fold concerns?
Nasolabial folds are the natural lines running from beside the nose towards the mouth corners. Nasal-base hollowing is the adjoining loss of support beside the nostrils and upper lip. They are connected concerns, but may need different treatment. We assess cheek support, the nasal base, skin thickness and your smile together. Changes in midface volume, tissue descent and the muscles that lift the upper lip can contribute, so directly filling a visible line is not always the best starting point.
Is filler always the best treatment?
No. We assess the whole face and explain whether lost volume, skin quality or surrounding support is the main contributor. Lenisna (Juvelook Volume) may suit gradual collagen support, while Juvéderm Voluma may be useful for a more immediate change in selected volume or contour.
Why do you prefer collagen stimulation where suitable?
A Korean PDLLA collagen stimulator. Lenisna (Juvelook Volume) encourages your own collagen production to gradually improve skin quality, firmness and supporting tissue around suitable smile-line concerns. Our preference where gradual tissue improvement is more useful than immediate filling.
What does treatment cost?
The Juvéderm Voluma option is £349 per selected treatment. Lenisna (Juvelook Volume) is £599. Free consultation, suitable comfort support, written aftercare and complimentary skincare routine advice are available. Any additional volume, areas or sessions are discussed first.
When will I see the results?
HA filler can provide an early change in volume, with swelling affecting the initial appearance. Lenisna (Juvelook Volume) results generally develop over two to three months as the collagen response builds. Your response and starting anatomy guide the final improvement.
Will I need repeated sessions?
We aim to make each appointment worthwhile and avoid unnecessary repeat visits. A focused session can provide meaningful improvement in our clinic’s experience. We review your response and explain whether another session would add value; a repeat course is not automatic.
How long can results last?
Duration varies with product, treatment area, starting tissue and individual response. Lenisna benefits may last 12–18 months, sometimes longer, but this is not a guarantee. Your doctor explains a realistic review plan for your chosen treatment.
Will treatment change my natural features?
Our aim is to restore selected support and tissue quality while keeping your proportions and expression. We agree how much change you want and avoid treating every normal contour as something to erase.
What recovery should I expect?
Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising can occur. Many people return to their normal routine with minimal downtime, but allow up to one to two weeks for injection effects to settle. You receive product-specific aftercare and follow-up support.
How do you plan treatment around my well-being?
Your appointment begins with a careful facial and medical assessment. Dr. Eroglu listens to your concerns, reviews previous treatments and explains the suitable options before you decide. Product, placement and amount are tailored to your anatomy, with clear aftercare and follow-up support. If you are concerned about existing hyaluronic-acid filler or puffiness, we can also discuss whether dissolving may be appropriate.
Who is suitable for treatment?
Suitability is confirmed after medical and facial assessment. Tell us about previous injections, allergies, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any active infection. We explain alternatives or postpone treatment when appropriate.
Can I combine collagen stimulation with devices or skin boosters?
Where midface laxity contributes to nose-to-mouth lines, selected ultrasound or radiofrequency treatment across the surrounding cheeks may improve firmness and support. Depths and placement are tailored to preserve natural facial volume, with separate assessment around the nose and upper lip. Skin hydration treatments can complement overall skin quality, with suitable sites and timing agreed individually.
