UltraCol 100 & 200

UltraCol is a Korean PDO-based collagen-stimulating treatment available in two formulations. UltraCol 100 uses smaller particles and focuses on skin quality, texture and fine lines. UltraCol 200 uses larger particles and focuses on facial volume and structural tissue support.
Your consultation explores your skin, facial anatomy and goals before deciding which UltraCol formulation and treatment plan is appropriate. The numbers 100 and 200 identify different formulations, not the number of vials in your treatment. Under-eye concerns require a separate, careful assessment.

UNDERSTANDING ULTRACOL 100 & 200

About UltraCol 100 & 200

Ultra V brand artwork showing UltraCol collagen stimulator formulations

What are UltraCol 100 and 200?

Both formulations contain biodegradable polydioxanone (PDO) particles with a carboxymethylcellulose carrier. PDO is different from PLLA and PDLLA. UltraCol is an injectable particle formulation, not a PDO thread lift or a hyaluronic-acid gel filler.

How do the two formulations differ?

UltraCol 100 — skin quality: smaller PDO particles, with a focus on skin texture, fine lines and elasticity.

UltraCol 200 — facial support: larger PDO particles, with a focus on structural tissue support, selected folds and changes in facial volume.

The formulation is chosen for the concern and tissue being treated, not simply the name of the area. Under-eye skin-quality concerns are different from volume-related hollows. Your doctor confirms which approach is suitable. The one-vial and two-vial price options describe quantity, not formulation.

ULTRACOL 100 & 200 QUESTIONS ANSWERED

UltraCol 100 & 200 frequently asked questions

What are UltraCol 100 and UltraCol 200?

UltraCol 100 and 200 are Korean PDO-based injectable collagen-stimulating formulations. UltraCol 100 focuses on skin quality; UltraCol 200 focuses on facial volume and tissue support. Your doctor confirms which version fits your concern.

Both UltraCol 100 and UltraCol 200 use polydioxanone, abbreviated PDO. They are not PLLA or PDLLA, which are different polymers used in other collagen-stimulating products.

PDO particles are intended to stimulate a tissue response that supports new collagen formation over time. UltraCol 100 and 200 differ in particle size and treatment focus, so the formulation and plan are matched to the concern and your anatomy.

UltraCol 100 is focused on skin texture, fine lines and elasticity. UltraCol 200 is focused on structural tissue support, selected folds and facial volume changes. The degree of improvement varies between individuals.

A consultation may consider cheek support, facial folds and selected areas of volume loss. The area, depth and amount cannot be chosen from a photograph or a product name alone; your doctor assesses the face in person.

The choice depends on the concern and your anatomy. Skin-quality concerns and fine lines are different from volume-related hollows. The manufacturer describes different roles for UltraCol 100 and 200, including selected under-eye volume applications for 200. Your doctor confirms the appropriate formulation after assessing you; the price card does not preselect a product.

No. Dark circles can arise from pigment, visible vessels, thin skin or shadows from hollows. Your doctor assesses the cause. Neither UltraCol 100 nor 200 is a solution for every under-eye concern.

UltraCol 100 has smaller PDO particles and focuses on superficial skin-quality concerns. UltraCol 200 has larger particles and focuses on deeper structural support and volume-related concerns. They should not be treated as interchangeable formulations.

No. UltraCol 100 and 200 are injectable particle formulations. A thread lift places physical threads within tissue. Sharing the material PDO does not make these procedures interchangeable.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are gels used for selected contour and volume concerns. UltraCol 200 is a PDO particle treatment focused on collagen stimulation. Product choice depends on the change you want and your anatomy; PDO cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase in the same way as HA.

They use different materials and have different treatment roles. Juvelook and Lenisna (Juvelook Volume) use PDLLA with hyaluronic acid, while UltraCol uses PDO. Your doctor can compare the options for skin quality and facial support without assuming one is best for everyone.

Adults concerned about facial firmness or volume changes may wish to discuss it. We review medical history, medications, allergies, existing skin conditions and previous procedures before making a recommendation. Treatment may be deferred or an alternative advised.

Collagen stimulation is gradual. Immediate fullness or swelling should not be mistaken for the settled effect. Your doctor will discuss a realistic review schedule and assess how your skin responds.

More than one session may be recommended. Korean clinic protocols commonly describe three sessions around one month apart. Your doctor recommends a schedule based on your skin and response. Prices shown are per session.

We listen to your goals, assess the area and discuss options, expected benefits, limitations, aftercare and possible side effects. You can ask questions and receive an individual plan and quote before deciding whether to proceed.

We welcome every ethnicity and skin tone. Your consultation considers your skin condition, sensitivity, pigmentation history, facial anatomy and previous treatments. A personal assessment matters more than assumptions based on ethnicity.

Your doctor can discuss a staged plan alongside other appropriate treatments. Bring details of previous injectables, laser and energy-based treatments so that the sequence and timing can be assessed.

Yes. Bring your current products or a list of them. We discuss a manageable home routine that complements your treatment plan, including moisturising and sun protection appropriate to your skin.

Under-eye treatment is £499 per session. Face treatment is £749 for one vial or £1,299 total for two vials per session. Your doctor confirms the formulation, suitability, areas and quantity at your free consultation.
