We consider the condition of your skin and surrounding tissues as part of the assessment. Good skin care supports overall skin comfort and appearance, while the primary concern on this page needs its own focused clinical plan.

If your last muscle-directed treatment was less than three months ago, our recommendation is not to repeat it routinely. We first assess your response, movement and skin condition. A scheduled review is an opportunity to assess the result, rather than an automatic repeat treatment.
We do not automatically book you in every three months. If a muscle-directed treatment is appropriate, we encourage you to leave the longest interval that remains suitable for your response and goals, with review when needed.
Our aim is to preserve natural movement and allow muscle activity to return between treatments, rather than maintain a constantly frozen appearance. We review muscle function, strength and any change in muscle bulk when deciding on a suitable interval.

For a muscle-directed plan, the amount is selected for your muscle activity, anatomy and desired degree of movement, within an appropriate clinical range. Higher amounts are not automatically better: we explain diffusion into neighbouring muscles, unwanted weakness and any area-specific considerations before you decide.
A complimentary 14-day follow-up is included for the agreed muscle-directed treatment plan. We review the settled response and your satisfaction; any clinically appropriate touch-up at that review is included at no extra charge. Your doctor decides whether an adjustment is suitable, with function and a balanced result in mind.
