Your complimentary 14-day review: personal assessment and thoughtful adjustments

How informed planning, careful technique and a personal review work together, including the complimentary 14-day review for an agreed masseter plan.
The review begins with the original plan
Good follow-up starts before treatment. We discuss your priorities, medical history, anatomy, suitability, expected course and relevant risks, then explain why a particular approach is suggested. Patient education helps you understand what will be reviewed and what changes may take longer. A review is a conversation about your response, not an automatic invitation to add more product.
For masseter care, symptoms and facial support both matter
A masseter consultation may begin with facial width, waking jaw soreness, stress-related clenching or tooth wear. Persistent grinding can damage teeth and fillings even when appearance is not a concern. Gum pain or recession needs dental review, and headaches or suspected migraine need the appropriate assessment. We consider these issues alongside chewing function, cheek fullness, skin recoil and lateral-face support.
Why we explain combinations before treating
If muscle reduction could make existing pre-jowls or laxity more noticeable, we discuss this before treatment. Where masseter bulk and upper platysma pull both contribute, we often consider jawline lifting as a separate option. Good elasticity and less tissue heaviness may make this a useful discussion, but each face is assessed individually. For a fuller face needing firmness, Ultraformer MPT may have a role. Reduced elasticity may favour Lenisna (Juvelook Volume), a PDLLA collagen stimulator, or separate skin-quality care before reconsidering muscle reduction.
Technique and expectations are explained together
Our lower-masseter approach is mapped to the individual muscle and nearby facial structures. Suitable placement, depth and amount aim to minimise unwanted spread while respecting chewing and expression. Temporary chewing weakness or smile changes are among the issues discussed before treatment. Careful planning reduces avoidable risks; a follow-up visit does not replace the need to understand them beforehand.
What the complimentary masseter review includes
At around 14 days we assess the early response, comfort, symmetry and useful muscle function. Any clinically appropriate touch-up at that review is included in the agreed masseter fee at no extra charge. This is not a promise of unlimited dosing. The separate jawline-lifting option does not include this complimentary touch-up offer. For other treatments, the follow-up arrangements are confirmed as part of the individual plan.
Why two weeks is not the final contour assessment
Muscle activity and visible muscle-size changes follow different timelines. The early review can help assess function and response while the contour continues developing over subsequent weeks. Depending on what we find, the right decision may be to wait, review again or discuss a different tissue concern rather than immediately repeating treatment.
Plan-based fees and thoughtful intervals
Our masseter fee is based on the agreed treatment, rather than a per-unit tariff. The amount is chosen for muscle size, activity, anatomy and goals within a suitable clinical range. More product is not automatically better. We do not routinely repeat muscle-directed treatment less than three months after the previous session, and we do not automatically book three-month maintenance. The longest suitable interval is guided by your response and function.
Teaching experience supports clear explanations
Dr. Eroglu combines clinical work with four years of advanced CPD teaching experience, training other practitioners in anatomy, aesthetic techniques and treatment planning. He is also an international Juvelook and Lenisna trainer. Our aim is for you to understand each recommendation, including when dental assessment, a fitted guard, skin support or no further injection is the appropriate next step.
Know your next step before you leave
You receive the relevant aftercare, a way to contact the clinic and an explanation of when to seek review. We want you to feel informed about comfort, function and appearance throughout the process. Read the masseter slimming and teeth-grinding treatment page for the full assessment approach and options, or see our anti-wrinkle consultation page for wider treatment planning.
