Lenisna and Juvelook Volume FAQs
What is Lenisna (Juvelook Volume)?
Lenisna is a Korean PDLLA collagen stimulator selected for gradual improvement in skin firmness, tissue quality and subtle, targeted support. We use it for suitable facial and body concerns, with preparation and placement tailored to your anatomy and goals.
Is Lenisna the same as Juvelook Volume?
Yes. Lenisna and Juvelook Volume refer to the same PDLLA and hyaluronic-acid hybrid formulation. Standard Juvelook is a related but different formulation, with a different concentration and particle profile for selected skin-quality and delicate-area concerns.
Is Lenisna a Korean collagen stimulator?
Yes. Lenisna belongs to the Korean Juvelook product family. Our approach combines experience with Korean collagen-stimulating protocols, careful anatomical assessment and a personal plan for natural-looking tissue support.
What is PDLLA, and how is it related to polylactic acid?
PDLLA means poly-D,L-lactic acid, a form of biodegradable polylactic acid used in collagen-stimulating products. It encourages a gradual tissue response. The formulation, particle characteristics, preparation and placement influence how a specific product is used.
Is Lenisna the same as PLLA or Sculptra?
Lenisna contains PDLLA, while Sculptra uses poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA. Both are polylactic-acid collagen stimulators, but they are different formulations with different protocols. We compare the products around your tissue, goals and preferred treatment plan rather than treating the names as interchangeable.
How does Lenisna compare with Radiesse, Lanluma and other biostimulators?
Lenisna is a PDLLA collagen stimulator. Lanluma and Sculptra are PLLA options; Radiesse uses calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA. These products offer different balances of tissue support, early change and gradual collagen response. Your doctor explains which approach suits the area and result you want.
How is Lenisna different from standard Juvelook?
Both stimulate collagen. Standard Juvelook is selected for skin rejuvenation, texture, fine lines and suitable delicate areas, alongside hydration. Lenisna has a role in selected deeper tissue support, dermal quality and gentle restoration of lost fullness, with our technique focused on subtle, natural-looking changes.
Which facial areas can be assessed for Lenisna?
We assess the cheeks, temples, nasal base, nasolabial folds, marionette area, jawline and wider facial support. Full-face and focused-area plans have different coverage. Your consultation identifies where support is useful and where additional fullness would not serve your goals.
Can Lenisna be used for the neck, hands and décolletage?
Neck and hand options are available for suitable skin-quality, firmness and tissue-support concerns. Décolletage treatment is £899, with coverage and suitability agreed after assessment. We explain the appropriate product and technique for each area.
Can Lenisna treat the abdomen or buttock area?
We offer selected abdominal skin-laxity and buttock-contour assessments. The aim is gradual skin-quality, firmness and proportionate support, with the area and preparation agreed after examination. Some goals need a staged or different treatment plan.
What does Lenisna cost in London at your clinic?
Full face is £999, neck £899, hands £799, temples £599 and nasal base £599 per treatment. Focused cheek, marionette and jawline Lenisna options are £499 through their dedicated booking pages. Abdomen is £999 and buttock contour £1,499. Décolletage is £899 per treatment. Our two full-face combinations are £1,999 each: Lenisna / Juvelook Volume with Profhilo and either the superficial Ultraformer MPT Booster Tip with topical PDRN gel, or a multi-cartridge Ultraformer MPT lifting protocol. A consultation is free.
Why do you use a concentrated Lenisna preparation?
We select a focused concentration for the tissue and goal, aiming to make each treatment worthwhile. Concentration, product amount and placement are considered together. We explain your preparation personally and review the response rather than automatically recommending a course.
Do you sell Lenisna as a compulsory course?
No. We price the listed options per treatment. In our clinical experience, many patients are happy after one appointment. We allow the response to develop, then discuss whether further treatment would offer a useful benefit for your skin and goals.
Why do you add NCTF 135 HA?
Where suitable, NCTF 135 HA is included at no extra cost to complement our focus on hydration and skin quality. Its hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and coenzymes have a different role from the PDLLA collagen-stimulating component. We explain each selected addition.
Why is hydration important alongside collagen stimulation?
Hydration contributes to supple, smoother-looking skin and a healthy glow. Collagen support addresses other aspects of firmness and tissue quality. We assess both, so your plan can address connected needs rather than focusing only on volume or only on surface hydration.
Why do you recommend Lenisna with Profhilo?
For suitable patients, we often recommend Profhilo when hydration and skin laxity also need attention. Profhilo has a role in tissue remodelling and hydration; Lenisna adds collagen support for subtle lifting and natural-looking tissue quality. We plan placement and timing around your skin. Profhilo is an additional-cost option.
Can Lenisna, Profhilo and Ultraformer MPT Booster be combined?
They may be considered in one coordinated plan where each has a clear role. Lenisna addresses selected deeper tissue support, Profhilo contributes hydration and tissue-remodelling care, and a suitable MPT Booster protocol addresses more superficial rejuvenation. Both £1,999 combinations include Lenisna / Juvelook Volume and one Profhilo treatment. The superficial Booster Tip option includes topical PDRN Scientific Booster gel; the other uses multiple Ultraformer MPT cartridges for selected deeper lifting layers. Suitability, sequence and timing are confirmed after assessment.
What is the scientific gel used with MPT Booster?
The device protocol can use topical CLASSYS Deep Synergy Booster containing PDRN. It is applied to the skin as part of the device treatment and is separate from the injected products. Your doctor explains the selected protocol and what each part contributes.
Why combine Lenisna with an energy-based treatment?
Our clinical aim is complementary collagen support and device-based rejuvenation in one coordinated plan. Lenisna supports selected deeper tissue needs, while an appropriate device protocol addresses firmness and more superficial skin quality. We select depth, sequence and timing around your anatomy and previous treatments.
What does a multilayer Lenisna technique mean?
It means assessing which tissue planes and skin concerns need support, then choosing suitable placement for each product or device. Targeted deeper tissue support and more superficial skin-quality treatment have different roles. The precise layers and sequence are selected for your anatomy.
Can Lenisna be combined with Skinvive or standard Juvelook?
Yes, where suitable, a coordinated plan may pair carefully targeted Lenisna with Skinvive hydration or standard Juvelook for selected skin-quality needs. These are additional-cost options. We explain coverage, timing and the benefit of each part before you choose.
Can Everesse or Volnewmer complement Lenisna?
Selected radiofrequency treatment may complement a Lenisna plan when laxity contributes to the concern. Everesse is also known as Volnewmer. We assess skin thickness, existing volume and treatment history, then agree the areas, sequence and separate price.
Do you use a cannula, and how comfortable is Lenisna?
Our approach is cannula-led where appropriate for the area and anatomy, with suitable Korean numbing and comfort checks. Our clinic’s typical discomfort guide is around 3 out of 10. You may feel pressure or brief tenderness, and we can pause whenever you need.
What downtime should I plan for?
Many patients find downtime manageable. Temporary swelling, tenderness, injection marks or bruising can occur, so allow settling time before important events. Your doctor explains the area-specific recovery and any precautions. Device and injectable parts of a combination have their own recovery considerations.
When will I see Lenisna results?
The collagen-related response develops gradually over weeks and months. Early fullness and swelling are not the final result. We often assess support around two to three months and use review to decide whether further treatment would help.
How long can Lenisna results last?
Support can last beyond the period when the product itself remains in the tissue. A suitable treatment plan may provide long-lasting improvement, with 12–24 months sometimes discussed depending on the course and response. We review your skin and maintenance personally.
Can Lenisna be used under the eyes?
For suitable delicate under-eye skin concerns, our clinic assesses standard Juvelook rather than Lenisna. Eye bags, pigment, hollowing and swelling need careful evaluation. We link to our Juvelook page so you can compare the appropriate options.
What do you check before recommending Lenisna?
We discuss health, allergies, medicines, skin condition, existing volume, previous filler, surgery and device treatments. Your doctor explains suitability, expected settling, risks and alternatives before you decide. Knowing the earlier products and timing helps us choose a thoughtful plan.
