What is Volformer? Combining Volnewmer RF with Ultraformer MPT
Volformer is the name used for combining two CLASSYS technologies: Volnewmer monopolar radiofrequency and Ultraformer MPT focused ultrasound. It is intended as a personalised combination approach, with a clear reason for using each device.
If you have seen the names Everesse, Volnewmer and Volformer together, the distinction is simple. Everesse is a name used for the Volnewmer RF platform in some markets. Volformer describes RF plus ultrasound; it is not the name of a separate machine.
Why consider two technologies?
Skin firmness and facial definition are connected concerns, but they do not always call for the same treatment. A doctor may consider RF for a skin-firmness goal and focused ultrasound for selected tissue depths within an overall face or neck plan.
The useful question is what each step contributes. If one approach already addresses your concern appropriately, adding a second device may be unnecessary. Volformer should be a considered option rather than the automatic premium choice for every patient.
What does the RF part involve?
Volnewmer delivers monopolar RF through a treatment tip, with continuous water cooling and contact-related checks. Different tip footprints allow coverage to be adapted to facial areas. The plan still depends on skin thickness, contour and the intended treatment zone.
What does Ultraformer MPT add?
Ultraformer MPT delivers focused ultrasound using selected cartridges and modes. Your doctor decides which depths and areas fit the goal, while taking care around natural facial volume. The settings are not chosen simply to reach the largest possible shot count.
How are Volformer shots and prices explained?
A combination quote should show the RF allocation and the ultrasound allocation separately. For example, 500 MPT shots plus 300 RF shots is a description of two components, not 800 interchangeable shots. The number alone does not express treatment strength, safety or likely result.
Our treatment page gives indicative face and neck packages informed by distributor correspondence. Some shot allocations are planning proposals and remain subject to clinical confirmation. The agreed coverage, tips, cartridges, settings, appointment sequence and price should be explained before treatment.
Must both devices be used on the same day?
That depends on the clinical plan. We assess previous procedures, skin condition, medical history and the reason for combining treatment. The order and whether the appointments should be staged require an individual decision. A published protocol name does not establish one universal sequence.
What do before-and-after photographs show?
The CLASSYS Volformer clinical book includes selected combination examples with different treatment plans and follow-up times. Our gallery separates combination cases from RF-only cases and labels immediate photographs separately from later follow-up.
These are manufacturer cases, not patients treated at London Finsbury Clinic. Lighting, position, expression and the chosen follow-up affect comparisons. A photograph cannot establish that a particular package will reproduce the same change, or prove that combining devices is superior for everyone.
What about pain, downtime and results?
We place comfort at the centre of planning and explain what sensations to expect. Cooling and adaptable delivery do not guarantee a pain-free appointment. Temporary tenderness, redness or swelling may occur, and the risks of both components need to be discussed. Allow time for recovery and review rather than scheduling a first treatment immediately before an important event.
Results vary and may develop gradually. We agree what will be assessed at review rather than promising a particular lift or duration.
