EXPERT ADVICE · LONDON FINSBURY CLINIC
What experience informs your anti-wrinkle consultation?
Your anti-wrinkle consultation should give you time to understand the choices, ask questions and decide what feels right for you. At London Finsbury Clinic, our clinical background includes several years of CPD training work teaching other practitioners aesthetic treatments and injection techniques.
Experience that includes teaching
Teaching requires us to explain the thinking behind a treatment plan: how facial anatomy is assessed, why placement matters and why different patients need different approaches. Our work includes anti-wrinkle techniques alongside wider aesthetic practice. We also continue our own professional learning.
For patients, the useful part of that experience is the quality of the conversation. You should be able to ask why an option is being considered and receive a clear explanation. A training role does not mean that every face should receive the same treatment or that a particular result can be guaranteed.
What that means during your consultation
We begin with your concerns, previous experiences and the changes you would like to discuss. Your doctor reviews medical history and medicines and assesses your face at rest and in movement. Tell us if previous treatment felt too strong, too subtle or different from what you expected.
We explain the options that may be relevant and their limitations. You can ask about preserving facial expression, the proposed treatment areas, aftercare and the total fee. A consultation may also lead to advice alone or a recommendation to postpone treatment.
An individual plan for your face
Facial proportions, muscle activity, brow position and existing asymmetry can differ from one person to another. Our approach takes those differences into account. The number of areas in a price plan does not replace an assessment of what is appropriate for your face.
We welcome patients of every ethnicity and skin tone. If you are looking for advice that considers Asian facial anatomy, share your priorities with us. We assess your own features and preferences rather than assume that all patients from one background want the same appearance.
Clear advice before you decide
Bring questions to your anti-wrinkle consultation. Ask what the proposed option is intended to change, what it will not address and what alternatives are available. You do not have to choose a procedure before meeting us, and there is no obligation to proceed.
Our clinic’s approach puts natural expression and thoughtful planning at the centre of the discussion. We agree realistic expectations and explain what follow-up involves before any treatment is considered.
Care after your appointment
Where treatment is agreed, you receive individual aftercare advice and a complimentary review at around 14 days. Your doctor checks how the treatment has settled and discusses any questions. Any adjustment is based on clinical assessment.
