Choosing HIFU in London: genuine devices, clear shots and honest prices

Clinic patient guide · Updated 30 October 2026

Choosing HIFU should feel informed and reassuring. When several clinics use the same treatment name, it can be difficult to understand what you are actually comparing. A few practical questions help you see the equipment, coverage and total agreed price clearly before booking.

Ask for the actual device name

HIFU means high-intensity focused ultrasound; it is not a single brand. Ask which manufacturer and model will be used at your appointment. A familiar name in an advertisement is a starting point, rather than confirmation of the equipment in the treatment room.

At London Finsbury Clinic, our face-lifting platform is genuine CLASSYS Ultraformer MPT. Our treatment page shows the device authenticity documentation and our training certificate so that you can examine the evidence directly.

Look for genuine cartridges and relevant training

Ask how the clinic verifies its device and cartridges, and who will assess and perform your treatment. Training and practical experience help the clinician select appropriate depths and coverage for your anatomy.

Our doctor-led approach builds on experience with Ultraformer III and MPT, alongside practical CLASSYS training in Korea. We explain the planned areas and cartridge selection in the context of your face and goals.

Understand your shot count

A shot count helps describe the agreed coverage, but a bigger number is not automatically a better plan. Depth, placement, anatomy and the area being treated matter too. Ask what the number includes and how it relates to your particular treatment.

We publish our main treatment shot counts. Our full-face option includes 1,000 shots, covering the agreed facial areas including jawline and double chin. Full face and neck includes up to 1,500 shots. You can ask us to review the recorded shot count, cartridges and treated areas at the end of the appointment.

Know the price before you arrive

Clear pricing means knowing what your selected option includes. Our full-face treatment is £999. Full face and neck is £1,499 and includes a complimentary Deep Synergy Booster. Focused areas and Booster treatments are listed separately so you can compare the relevant options.

The agreed price includes the assessment, selected treatment and included aftercare, with complimentary skincare routine advice. There is no separate charge for the included treatment steps. Any optional extra is clearly listed, discussed and agreed before treatment; for example, a Deep Synergy Booster added to a plan that does not include it is £349.

A short checklist for comparing clinics

  • Which device and manufacturer will be used?
  • Can I see authenticity and training documentation?
  • Who assesses and performs the treatment?
  • Which areas, shots and inclusions does my price cover?
  • Are optional extras explained before I decide?
  • How will you support my comfort and aftercare?

Clarity is part of care

A website that does not show every detail is a reason to ask questions, rather than proof of wrongdoing. What matters is that you receive clear answers and an agreed plan before proceeding. Our aim is to make that information easy to find, with time to discuss it during consultation.
