0.25 cm² contact area
I tip · Precise areas
The smallest contact area is intended for precise treatment in selected delicate zones, including areas around the eyes. Your doctor determines the safe boundary and whether this tip is appropriate.
Skin firmness. Facial definition. A plan built around you.
Explore Everesse (Volnewmer) radiofrequency with continuous water cooling, or Volformer, combining Volnewmer RF and Ultraformer MPT ultrasound for complementary lifting and tightening goals.

Everesse (Volnewmer) is a non-invasive monopolar radiofrequency platform developed by Korean manufacturer CLASSYS. It uses 6.78 MHz RF energy to support collagen remodelling and improve the appearance of skin firmness. The treatment does not involve needles or surgical incisions.
Its continuous water-cooling system is designed to protect the skin surface while heat is delivered into the dermis. Flexible, curved treatment tips help maintain contact with facial contours. Your doctor chooses the area, tip and settings together, rather than treating every face in the same way.
Everesse (Volnewmer) may be an option when skin feels less firm, your lower face looks softer, or you want to discuss crepey texture. Cooling and regular comfort checks are central to the experience. Warmth and some discomfort remain possible; a comfortable treatment is the aim, rather than a promise of no sensation.
Radiofrequency describes an energy technology, not one particular brand. CLASSYS markets its platform as Volnewmer and uses Everesse branding in overseas markets. We use the name Everesse (Volnewmer) so you can recognise the device when comparing information. It is a separate platform from Thermage FLX, not a Thermage model or upgrade.
Meet with a doctor for a complimentary, no-pressure assessment. We listen to what you would like to improve, examine skin quality and facial volume, and explain whether Everesse (Volnewmer), another treatment or a combination would suit your goals.
Combine Volnewmer radiofrequency with Ultraformer MPT ultrasound when both have a useful role in your face or neck treatment. We explain each device’s purpose and shot allocation separately.

A good treatment plan starts with what has changed in your skin. Firmness, volume, texture and facial proportions are connected, but they are not interchangeable concerns.
The right area depends on your anatomy, skin condition and intended result. A consultation distinguishes skin laxity from concerns that may need a different approach.
Discuss reduced firmness, fine texture changes and a less refreshed appearance. We consider natural facial volume as well as skin quality before recommending energy treatment.
For suitable lower-face skin laxity and softer-looking definition. Skin tightening is different from replacing lost structural support or removing excess fat.
The neck is assessed alongside the lower face when appropriate. Skin thickness, laxity and previous procedures influence the treatment boundary and plan.
The small I tip is designed for precise work in selected delicate areas. Eye-area treatment needs specific precautions; treatment directly over the eyelids is not automatically included.

Monopolar RF passes energy between the treatment electrode and a return pad. Resistance within tissue creates heat. The aim is a controlled thermal response that supports collagen remodelling, with changes developing gradually.
Everesse (Volnewmer) combines continuous water cooling, contact and impedance checks, and a curved, cushioned tip design. These features support consistent contact and a comfort-focused approach. They do not replace careful settings, anatomical knowledge or your doctor’s ongoing assessment.
Unlike HIFU cartridges, RF tips are not labelled with a fixed ultrasound focal depth. Their contact area and shape help your doctor adapt coverage to the treatment zone.

CLASSYS describes four contact sizes. The measurements below are surface areas in cm², not treatment depths in millimetres. The tip is chosen for the area and purpose of treatment; every appointment does not need all four.

0.25 cm² contact area
The smallest contact area is intended for precise treatment in selected delicate zones, including areas around the eyes. Your doctor determines the safe boundary and whether this tip is appropriate.

3.0 cm² contact area
A face-contouring tip used in plans involving areas such as the jawline and chin. Its smaller footprint helps tailor coverage to curved or more focused facial zones.

4.0 cm² contact area
The main face tip offers a larger contact area for facial skin-tightening coverage. The number of passes, settings and distribution are selected together rather than by tip size alone.

16.0 cm² contact area
The largest contact area is designed for broader body zones, including the abdomen, arms and thighs. Body suitability and the planned area need their own assessment and quotation.
Manufacturer tips and platform specifications are shown; the tips and protocol used for your appointment will be confirmed at consultation.
Both are monopolar radiofrequency platforms. Everesse (Volnewmer) is an independent CLASSYS technology, rather than a newer version of Thermage. The useful comparison is their design, the supporting evidence and how the treatment fits your skin.
| What to compare | Everesse (Volnewmer) | Thermage FLX |
|---|---|---|
| Pain level · out of 10 | 4.5 / 10Lower average pain in the direct comparison. | 8.4 / 10Higher average pain under the same study conditions. |
| Treatment time | Efficient treatment delivery with continuous cooling. Your appointment length depends on coverage, tip and shot allocation. | Time depends on the treatment area and pulse count. A longer or shorter visit cannot be assumed from the device name alone. |

Pain scores are study averages after 300 shots per cheek in 22 Asian women, with topical anaesthetic on both sides. At 100 and 200 shots, averages were 3.1 and 3.8 for Volnewmer, versus 5.8 and 7.4 for Thermage FLX. Your experience may differ.
A 2025 randomised split-face study compared Volnewmer with Thermage FLX in 22 Asian women over eight weeks. Lifting, volume and several wrinkle outcomes were comparable, while procedural pain was lower with Volnewmer under the study conditions. Both sides received topical anaesthetic. This supports a comfort discussion; it does not prove pain-free treatment or universal superiority.
Read the published comparative study ↗For patients who are anxious about heat-based treatments, continuous cooling is a useful feature to discuss. Everesse (Volnewmer) adds another way to plan non-surgical skin tightening around tolerance and treatment coverage. We still recommend a device because it suits your assessment, not simply because it is newer.
Volformer brings together two CLASSYS technologies: the broad RF heating approach of Volnewmer and the selected focal depths of Ultraformer MPT ultrasound. The aim is to address complementary concerns in skin firmness and facial definition within an individual treatment plan.
Monopolar radiofrequency supports a controlled thermal response in suitable tissue. Continuous water cooling and different tip footprints help your doctor adapt contact, comfort and coverage around facial contours.
Understand Volnewmer tip selection →Dedicated cartridges deliver ultrasound at selected focal depths. Your doctor chooses the depth, mode and distribution for the intended tissue and treatment goal, taking particular care where natural facial volume should be preserved.
Explore Ultraformer MPT →Someone concerned about both softer lower-face definition and less firm skin may have more than one treatment goal. Volformer allows RF and ultrasound to be planned together, with a clear purpose for each step. It is an option to assess, rather than a requirement for everyone wanting skin tightening.
CLASSYS describes several combination approaches, including Basic Combi, Intensive, Cheek to Cheek and Advanced Eye protocols. These differ in area, tip, cartridge and shot distribution. We select the approach after examining your skin thickness, laxity and facial volume; a protocol name alone does not establish suitability.
Your doctor maps the intended areas, explains which technology will treat each concern, and agrees the sequence and whether treatment should occur in one appointment or be staged. Tell us about previous fillers, threads, skin boosters, implants and recent procedures before a plan is chosen.
RF shots and HIFU shots are different units of treatment. They cannot be traded one for one, and adding the counts does not create a meaningful measure of strength. Settings, contact area, cartridge depth, mode, passes and your anatomy matter alongside the numbers.
The 2024 CLASSYS Volformer book includes a 24-person split-face investigation of RF followed by HIFU versus HIFU followed by RF, with follow-up to 90 days. It also presents selected combination cases. This is useful manufacturer-supplied material, but does not prove that Volformer is better than either treatment alone for every patient or determine one universal treatment order.

Volnewmer also has tips designed for selected body zones. Body coverage and suitability require their own assessment. This page focuses on face and neck; a dedicated body-treatment page will follow.
Contact us about body-treatment information →Discuss your concerns, health history and priorities. We assess laxity, skin quality and natural facial volume before recommending treatment.
Agree the area, intended coverage, tip selection, expected sensations, quote and review arrangements before you decide.
The skin is prepared and the return pad positioned. Your doctor follows the selected protocol and checks how the treatment feels throughout.
You receive individual instructions and advice on when to review the developing result. Contact the clinic if you have concerns afterwards.
Some people notice an early change in firmness. Collagen remodelling takes longer, so the developing result is assessed over the following weeks and months. Improvement can continue for up to six months, but the degree and timing vary.
We discuss a review point and whether any further treatment is appropriate. Everesse (Volnewmer) does not reproduce a surgical facelift, replace structural filler in every situation or guarantee restoration of lost volume. Standardised photographs can help you assess change more fairly.
Many patients return to their usual routine promptly. Temporary warmth, redness, swelling or tenderness can occur. Heat-based treatment also carries less common risks, which your doctor explains before consent.
Disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding, implanted electronic devices, metal in the area, active skin problems, relevant medicines and previous aesthetic procedures. Suitability is assessed individually using the device instructions and your medical history; an online page cannot provide clearance for treatment.

CLASSYS uses Volnewmer and overseas Everesse branding for its monopolar RF platform. We write Everesse (Volnewmer) so the relationship is clear. Your consultation can confirm the specific device and tips used at the clinic.
No. Everesse (Volnewmer) is made by CLASSYS; Thermage FLX is a separate Solta Medical platform. Both use monopolar RF, with differences in cooling and treatment design. The comparison above explains why comfort may be an important part of your choice.
Continuous water cooling is designed to improve comfort, and lower pain was reported in a small direct study. Individual sensations vary. You may feel building warmth or discomfort, and your doctor will check your tolerance throughout.
The indicative guide starts at £900 for selected eye-area RF, £1,400 for full-face RF and £1,500 for a focused Volformer combination. These are estimates subject to final clinic confirmation. Your consultation confirms coverage, shot allocation and the written quote before any treatment payment.
The exact boundary, tip selection and coverage will be confirmed with your quote. Eye-area and neck treatment should not be assumed to be included unless your plan specifically states this.
Yes, but the exact area requires careful assessment. The I tip has a small contact area for selected delicate zones. That does not mean every eyelid or under-eye concern is suitable for RF treatment.
Yes. The I, F, V and S tip sizes describe contact surface area. HIFU cartridges are commonly described by an ultrasound focal depth. These measurements should not be compared as though they mean the same thing.
No single count defines treatment quality. Your doctor considers the area, settings, tip, coverage and your tissue. Ask what the quotation includes and how the treatment will be adapted to your concern.
Timing depends on the area, coverage and whether another treatment is included. We confirm the appointment length when planning your treatment, allowing time for preparation, comfort checks and aftercare.
Your doctor recommends the initial plan and review arrangements after assessment. A single session may be discussed, but repeat treatment and maintenance are individual decisions rather than a fixed promise.
An early change may be noticeable, while fuller remodelling develops over weeks to months. We agree a useful review point and explain that the amount and timing of improvement vary.
Many patients return to everyday activities promptly. Temporary redness, swelling, warmth or tenderness can occur, so allow some flexibility around important events and follow the clinic’s individual aftercare.
Not in every situation. Skin tightening, restoring structural volume and removing significant excess skin are different goals. Your doctor explains which approach is most appropriate for your anatomy.
The combination is known as Volformer. It can be discussed when RF and ultrasound each address a useful part of your plan. Suitability, sequence, coverage and cost must be agreed individually.
Tell your doctor what you have had, where and when. Bring any available treatment details. Existing procedures and implants can affect whether, where and when an energy-based treatment is appropriate.
Yes. Consultation is based on the individual concern, anatomy and medical history. Skin type, previous procedures and goals are reviewed before a treatment recommendation is made.

Volformer combines CLASSYS Volnewmer monopolar RF with Ultraformer MPT ultrasound. The technologies serve complementary roles in a personalised plan for suitable skin-firmness and lifting concerns.
The proposed combination includes RF coverage and use of a second device, as well as the ultrasound treatment. You are comparing the total plan, practitioner time and inclusions, rather than just adding shot numbers.
There is no universal count. Our guide shows separate ultrasound and RF allowances so you can understand a proposed package. Your doctor confirms allocation, coverage, settings and suitability after examining your face and neck.
Do not assume either outcome. The selected tissue, cartridge depth, mode and settings matter. Your doctor assesses areas where volume should be preserved and explains whether a different approach would better address hollowing or structural volume loss.
Some combination plans may be delivered in one appointment; others may be staged. The doctor agrees the sequence and timing after checking your skin, medical history and previous treatments. The manufacturer case shown above included multiple ultrasound treatments.
No. These particular examples are from CLASSYS clinical books and are labelled as manufacturer cases, including the treatment type and follow-up period. They illustrate selected outcomes and are not a guarantee.
This page concerns RF and ultrasound treatment for selected firmness and lifting goals. Freckles or changing pigmented marks need a separate skin assessment; they should not be assumed to be treated by Volnewmer or Volformer.
