Nose slimming consultation FAQs
What does a nose slimming consultation consultation involve?
We assess the nose at rest and in expression, including nostril movement and its relationship with the upper lip. This helps establish whether the concern is dynamic or structural.
How do you decide on the right approach?
We explain what your anatomy means for the options available. A consultation provides a clear, personal recommendation rather than assuming that a movement-focused approach can change the underlying nasal framework.
Do I need to return every three months?
No. We do not set automatic three-month appointments. We review your response and encourage an individually suitable interval, with natural movement and muscle function in mind.
What role does skin quality have?
We consider the condition of your skin and surrounding tissues as part of the assessment. Good skin care supports overall skin comfort and appearance, while the primary concern on this page needs its own focused clinical plan.
How do I choose an appointment?
Start with a free consultation. The next appointment page shows factual fee options. Your doctor confirms suitability and discusses benefits, relevant side effects and aftercare before any treatment.
Can movement affect the appearance of the nose?
Selected muscle activity can affect appearance during expression. Your doctor assesses whether it is relevant to your concern.
Will this change the underlying nasal bones?
No. A muscle-directed plan does not reshape the underlying bones or replace a structural assessment.
Why do you look at my nose when I smile?
Expression helps show the movement pattern and how it relates to nearby facial structures.
Is this the same as nasal-base filler?
No. Nasal-base support and muscle-directed care have different purposes and need separate assessment.
Can I discuss asymmetry during movement?
Yes. Your doctor compares the sides and explains what a suitable plan can reasonably address.
Can I book a consultation before deciding?
Yes. The free doctor-led consultation gives you time to discuss the concern, compare the suitable options and decide without pressure.
Will my plan be identical on both sides?
We assess movement and symmetry individually. The amount and placement can differ between sides when that better matches your anatomy.
Should I share details of earlier treatments?
Yes. Bring the product or treatment name, date, area and any relevant response so your doctor can plan around what has already been done.
What health information should I mention?
Tell the doctor about medicines, allergies, relevant conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any current symptoms before treatment is considered.
How is the proposed amount chosen?
The amount follows the muscle activity, anatomy, treatment goal and clinical assessment. A treatment name does not mean a fixed amount for everyone.
What does the guide fee cover?
The pricing section explains the assessed option and included care. Your doctor confirms the proposed plan and total before treatment; separate options are agreed individually.
Can other approaches be discussed at the same visit?
Yes. We can compare muscle-directed care with relevant skin-quality, device or support options when these address a different part of your concern.
What will I understand before giving consent?
Your doctor explains the proposed treatment, its purpose, expected change, relevant precautions, alternatives and aftercare, with time for your questions.
Is personal aftercare included?
Yes. You receive advice for the actual treatment and a way to contact the clinic. Complimentary skincare routine advice can also help you care for your skin at home.
What is the purpose of the included follow-up?
The complimentary 14-day review assesses the treatment response. Any clinically appropriate adjustment at that review is included as described in your plan; a separate future treatment is discussed separately.
