EXPERT ADVICE · LONDON FINSBURY CLINIC

What should you expect at your first Korean aesthetic appointment?

A thoughtful first treatment begins with a doctor who listens.

If you are considering aesthetic treatment for the first time, you do not need to arrive with a product name or a fixed plan. You may simply want fresher-looking skin, better hydration or a firmer appearance. At London Finsbury Clinic, we start with a conversation and help you understand the choices at a pace that feels comfortable.

We listen before recommending

Your complimentary consultation gives you time to explain what you have noticed, what you hope to change and what you would prefer to keep. We ask about medical history, medication, allergies, skincare and any previous procedures. Your doctor assesses your skin and facial anatomy before discussing whether treatment is appropriate.

Sometimes a simple plan is enough. Sometimes we recommend a staged approach or explain why a particular procedure would not be a good fit. A consultation does not commit you to treatment.

Skin quality before a shopping list of procedures

A Korean aesthetic approach can focus on hydration, texture, firmness and a naturally refreshed appearance. Depending on the concern, we may discuss Rejuran polynucleotides, Elravie Re2O, Skinvive or Profhilo. Collagen-focused options include Juvelook, Lenisna, Radiesse and UltraCol, with product and treatment area selected individually.

For lifting or tightening concerns, we can discuss genuine Ultraformer MPT and other technologies after checking skin thickness, facial volume and suitability. We also offer consultations for lines and wrinkles. You do not need every treatment, and having more procedures is not automatically a better plan.

Needle-free, non-injectable options

If you prefer treatment without needles or injections, our energy-based options include Ultraformer MPT, Ultherapy PRIME, Thermage FLX, Oligio, PicoSure Pro laser and Exilis Ultra 360. These technologies have different roles in addressing suitable lifting, tightening, texture, pigmentation and rejuvenation concerns.

Your doctor recommends an appropriate option after assessing your skin, facial anatomy, medical history and goals. The choice of device, treatment area and settings depends on your individual needs; a machine that suits one person may not be right for another. Some suitable treatments involve little or no planned downtime. We explain the expected sensations, recovery and aftercare for your recommended treatment before you decide.

Volnewmer (EVERESSE) by CLASSYS is expected in November 2026. Once available, it will offer another needle-free radiofrequency option following doctor assessment. It is not yet available for treatment at our clinic. CLASSYS calls the combination of Ultraformer MPT and Volnewmer Volformer; your doctor will assess whether a combined plan is appropriate once the new device is available.

Comfort matters throughout your appointment

Tell us if you are worried about pain or have had an uncomfortable experience elsewhere. We explain the sensations you may notice, discuss suitable comfort measures and check how you are feeling throughout treatment. We can adjust the approach within the requirements of safe and effective treatment.

Many patients find their appointment easier than they expected. Sensations vary between people and procedures. Our caring approach means explaining the comfort measures available, checking in throughout the appointment and responding to your needs.

Options that fit around everyday life

Some non-invasive treatments can fit around a busy schedule with little or no planned downtime. For example, most Ultraformer MPT patients return to normal activities promptly. Temporary redness, tenderness or swelling can still occur.

Injectable treatments may cause bruising, swelling or tenderness; laser recovery depends on the treatment and your skin. We explain the likely recovery for your own plan before you book, especially if you have work, travel or a special event approaching. We help you choose an appointment that fits your schedule and gives you time to recover comfortably.

Clear information and thoughtful aftercare

Before you decide, we explain the proposed treatment, alternatives, expected outcomes, possible risks, costs and follow-up. You will know what to look out for afterwards and how to contact the clinic with a question. We want you to feel informed and looked after before, during and after your visit.

For Ultraformer MPT, we explain the planned layers and shot count, use genuine CLASSYS cartridges and can show the delivered count on request. Clear treatment details are part of building trust.
