How do Rejuran injections differ from PDRN skincare?
Korean skincare has made the language of skin quality part of everyday conversation. You may have seen a PDRN serum online, heard Rejuran described as a “salmon DNA” treatment, or wondered whether a cream could give you the same experience as a clinic appointment. The names can sound similar, but the products and the way they are used deserve separate explanations.
This guide helps you read those names with more confidence. At London Finsbury Clinic in King’s Cross, a consultation gives you space to discuss your current routine and decide whether a professional treatment has a useful role alongside it.
Start with the product, rather than the trend
Rejuran is a brand with both professional treatment and cosmetic skincare ranges. PharmaResearch describes its injectable Rejuran medical devices as polynucleotide, or PN, products. The cosmetics business also uses cosmetic PDRN ingredients in skincare. Seeing a related name on the packaging does not mean two products have the same formulation, purpose or method of use.
Look for the complete product name and whether it is a cosmetic intended for application to the skin or a professional injectable. A social-media nickname such as “salmon DNA facial” does not tell you enough to compare them.
A daily routine and an injectable appointment play different roles
A skincare product is applied to the surface as directed by its label. An injectable is administered by a practitioner after assessment. These routes are different, so a claim or experience associated with one should not automatically be transferred to the other. A serum is not a substitute for an injectable appointment, and having an injectable does not remove the value of an appropriate daily routine.
You do not need to replace everything you already use because a new ingredient becomes popular. Bring your product list to your consultation. Explaining what feels comfortable, what irritates your skin and what you want to change is a better starting point than collecting several trending products at once.
What should you ask before choosing Rejuran?
- What is the main concern: skin texture, fine lines, hydration or something else?
- Which exact formulation is being recommended, and why?
- What improvement is realistic for my skin?
- What recovery time, aftercare and review will the plan involve?
- What is included in the price, and would a different approach suit me better?
Our Rejuran treatment page explains the options offered at the clinic and the current treatment packages. You can explore these before your visit without needing to choose a formulation yourself.
Keep comparisons thoughtful
If you are also considering Juvelook, remember that it is a different product family. The best comparison begins with your goals and the proposed treatment, rather than assuming every Korean skin treatment works in the same way. Our Juvelook and Rejuran comparison offers another starting point for that discussion.
