Product information, made clear
What is Profhilo®?
Explore Profhilo and IBSA’s hyaluronic acid technology for skin hydration and tissue quality, with a personalised face or neck assessment and attentive care throughout your treatment journey.
Understand the material and approach
Profhilo is an IBSA Derma hyaluronic acid product family. Its NAHYCO technology combines hyaluronic acid of different molecular weights through a thermal process. We explain the formulation offered for your appointment and how it fits your hydration or tissue-quality goals.
We are happy to explain the details, compare your options and answer the questions that matter to you. Explore the product range below, then read our clinic protocol at the end of this guide.
Understand the differences
Profhilo, Profhilo Structura and Profhilo Body
The Profhilo family uses IBSA’s NAHYCO technology to combine high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. The three injectable products have different formulations and intended tissue targets. Your doctor assesses whether the main concern is skin hydration, body skin laxity or age-related facial tissue changes before discussing a product.

Profhilo H+L
The original formulation focuses on skin quality and laxity rather than a precisely shaped facial contour. It combines high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid and is discussed for hydration and elasticity in suitable face and neck treatment plans.
Dryness, fine crepiness and changes in skin firmness can have different causes. Your doctor considers your skin condition, previous injections and goals before recommending a course. The amount, injection sites, expected recovery and review are agreed individually.

Profhilo Structura
Structura is a distinct facial treatment developed around age-related changes in adipose tissue. IBSA describes it as an approach to restoring facial adipose tissue, rather than simply treating surface dryness. The formulation contains 90 mg of hyaluronic acid in a 2 ml syringe.
The doctor assesses the superficial facial fat compartments, tissue descent and changes in facial support. Structura’s placement and treatment goal differ from original Profhilo, so they are not interchangeable. A consultation helps distinguish skin-quality changes from volume loss and establishes whether this approach is suitable. Individual outcomes vary.

Profhilo Body
A dedicated body formulation for skin laxity and tissue quality. Its 3 ml syringe contains 96 mg of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. It is a skin treatment, not a fat-removal procedure.
Areas such as the upper arms and abdomen may be discussed when the main concern is loose or crepey skin. Your doctor assesses skin thickness, laxity and the underlying tissues before recommending an area or course. The wider Body kit pairs clinic treatment with Figura cream and body patches for home care. Availability at our clinic and the exact product proposed are confirmed before booking.
Supporting Profhilo skincare
IBSA’s cosmetic range includes Haenkenium cream, Figura Body Cream, Figura body patches and Pura cleanser. These products provide daily cleansing, moisturising or post-procedure comfort according to their labelled directions. They are separate from the injectable products.
Figura Body Cream includes hyaluronic acid and a peptide complex; the patches are intended for soothing and moisturising care after suitable aesthetic procedures. Your clinician advises when products can be introduced after treatment and which routine suits your skin.
A plan that fits your skin and natural features
You do not need to choose between these products before a consultation. Tell us what concerns you and what you want to preserve. We explain the intended benefit, evidence, alternatives, total price and aftercare, including whether a different treatment or no injection is more appropriate.
Recovery and review
Injectable treatments can cause temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness or small bumps. Your doctor explains product-specific risks, including uncommon serious complications, and gives aftercare instructions and a contact route for concerns. Review timing and further treatment depend on your response rather than a promise of a fixed result.

Understanding Profhilo® and your options
Hyaluronic acid and skin-quality treatment
Profhilo belongs to IBSA Derma’s hyaluronic acid product family. The manufacturer’s NAHYCO technology combines hyaluronic acid of different molecular weights through a thermal process. We explain the named formulation proposed and relate its skin-quality purpose to the hydration, texture or firmness you would like to discuss.
Face and neck as individual areas
Your face and neck can have different skin thickness, texture and treatment priorities. We assess each area and ask what matters most to you. Your plan explains the product, placement and appointment sequence proposed. You can bring questions about your current skincare and how a skin-quality treatment fits with other procedures you are considering.
Understanding the wider Profhilo family
The manufacturer’s wider range includes Profhilo, Profhilo Body, Profhilo Structura and complementary skincare. We explain the product being offered for your clinic appointment and help you understand how the manufacturer’s different presentations relate to treatment goals. Your review and home-care plan are tailored to the actual formulation and area treated.
Reading the family names alongside your treatment plan
Profhilo, Profhilo Body and Profhilo Structura are distinct names within the manufacturer’s wider family. They help identify the product being discussed, while your clinic plan confirms the actual formulation, area and purpose of your appointment. We welcome questions about skin hydration, texture and firmness, and explain how those goals relate to the named option offered. We also talk through your home routine and the timing of reviews, so the product information connects clearly to the care you receive.

A complete product family
Profhilo skincare, pictured separately from injectables
The IBSA range also includes topical products for daily care and treatment support. They complement a suitable routine; they do not reproduce the effects of an injectable or replace sunscreen. Ask us which products fit your skin and which are currently available.

Figura Body Cream
A body skincare cream for hydration and the appearance of skin firmness. This is a topical product, distinct from the injectable Profhilo Body formulation.

Figura Body Patch
A moisturising body patch used as supporting skincare. Your clinician advises whether and when it fits your aftercare, rather than applying it automatically to recently treated skin.

Profhilo Pura
A cleansing product in the Profhilo skincare family. Gentle cleansing is a different step from moisturising, sun protection or an injectable treatment.

Profhilo Haenkenium, 50 ml
A face skincare cream containing hyaluronic acid and the manufacturer’s Haenkenium complex. It supports a daily moisturising routine and is not a volumising filler.
