Product information, made clear
What is CLASSYS®?
Discover CLASSYS technology and the Ultraformer MPT treatment we offer for lifting and skin firmness, with clear explanations of handpieces, cartridges and a plan tailored to your face or body.
Understand the material and approach
Ultraformer MPT uses focused ultrasound with handpieces and cartridges for selected tissue depths. The doctor connects the technology, coverage and treatment area to your lifting or skin-firmness goals. This guide also introduces the wider CLASSYS portfolio and our planned VOLNEWMER addition.
We are happy to explain the details, compare your options and answer the questions that matter to you. Explore the product range below, then read our clinic protocol at the end of this guide.
Understand the differences
CLASSYS product range & approaches

Ultraformer MPT
The current MPT model uses micro-pulsed ultrasound technology, with face, body and booster cartridge approaches.
Face cartridges
Different treatment depths allow area-specific planning. More energy or more shots is not automatically better.
Body cartridges
Body tissue requires different assessment from facial tissue. Discuss abdomen or selected body laxity goals and realistic limitations.
Booster cartridges
A separate cartridge approach, including carefully assessed facial and eye-area goals. It is not a guaranteed removal of protruding eye bags.
Ultraformer III
An earlier model in the same CLASSYS family. Model names should be distinguished; our current booking information focuses on MPT.
CLASSYS technologies
Ultrasound, monopolar RF and microneedling RF
The CLASSYS portfolio includes different energy-based approaches. This guide explains the differences so you can understand what each device is designed to do. Our current treatment options and planned additions are identified separately below.
Ultraformer MPT
Ultrasound · current clinic treatment
Micro- and macro-focused ultrasound is delivered with a choice of cartridges and patterns. The depth and coverage are selected for the area and goal. Explore the detailed cartridge guide on this page and our current treatment options.
VOLNEWMER
Monopolar radiofrequency · planned addition
London Finsbury Clinic is planning to add VOLNEWMER. The device is not yet available to book. Learn about the technology below; we will confirm availability and fees when the service launches.
Ultraformer III
Another model in the ultrasound family
CLASSYS describes Ultraformer III as a micro- and macro-focused ultrasound system. It is a separate model from MPT. Ask about the exact device proposed for your appointment rather than treating all HIFU systems as the same machine.
Secret RF
Manufacturer portfolio information
Secret RF combines microneedles with radiofrequency delivery into the skin. Needle depth and cartridge selection are part of treatment planning. This differs from a surface monopolar RF treatment and from ultrasound.
Its inclusion here explains the wider brand; it is not presented as an available clinic booking.
Planned addition · not yet bookable
VOLNEWMER: monopolar radiofrequency with cooling
VOLNEWMER uses 6.78 MHz monopolar RF. CLASSYS describes tissue heating for skin firmness alongside continuous water cooling and impedance checks. Its four tips are designed for different areas: I for smaller sensitive areas, F for contour, V for the face and S for the body.

I tip · 0.25 cm²
Smaller-area tip in the manufacturer’s range, including eye-area planning.

F tip · 3.0 cm²
Face-contour tip in the manufacturer’s range.

V tip · 4.0 cm²
Main facial tip in the manufacturer’s range.

S tip · 16.0 cm²
Larger body tip in the manufacturer’s range.
What will our consultation consider?
We will assess the area you want to improve, tissue quality, earlier treatments and medical history before discussing suitability. Your doctor will explain the selected tip, coverage, comfort measures, expected recovery and total cost. The plan will aim for a natural-looking change that fits your starting anatomy.
How does it differ from Ultraformer MPT?
VOLNEWMER uses radiofrequency and Ultraformer MPT uses ultrasound. These are different energy-delivery approaches. The choice should follow the concern and assessment; the newest device is not automatically the right option for every person. A combination will only be considered when there is a reason for both treatments.
Ultraformer MPT in detail
Focused ultrasound for lifting, firmness and skin quality
CLASSYS develops energy-based aesthetic systems in Korea. Ultraformer MPT combines micro- and macro-focused ultrasound with Micro-Pulsed Technology. Focused energy creates controlled thermal treatment points at selected depths, supporting collagen remodelling for lifting, tightening and skin-quality goals.
Normal and MP modes
Normal mode delivers a dot pattern; MP mode uses broader heating. Your doctor selects the pattern around the area and tissue rather than choosing a stronger setting by default.
Linear and Booster handpieces
F-type cartridges deliver a linear pattern. Booster cartridges use a circular pattern, giving the clinician a different delivery approach.
Ultraformer MPT cartridges and depths
CLASSYS lists ten cartridges across three groups. These are device options, not a prescription to use every depth on every person.
Face cartridges
1.5 · 2.0 · 3.0 · 4.5 mm
Different depths allow the doctor to plan treatment around the tissue in the selected facial area. Delicate areas need separate assessment.
Body cartridges
6.0 · 9.0 · 13.0 mm
A body plan starts with the concern and tissue assessment. Abdominal skin laxity, local fat and significant excess skin require different approaches.
Ultra Booster cartridges
1.5 · 3.0 · 4.5 mm
The Booster range offers another delivery pattern. Ask which cartridge is proposed for your treatment and why it suits the area.
Your treatment goals
What can we discuss at consultation?
Face and lower-face definition
Discuss early laxity, a less defined jawline and changes in facial firmness. We assess skin, facial fat and volume before deciding whether ultrasound fits your goal. A lifting plan should preserve the balance of your face.
Under-eye skin quality
Thin skin, hollowness, pigment and protruding fat pads are different concerns. Your doctor assesses the eye area separately and explains whether a device approach, an injectable, skincare or another assessment is appropriate.
Neck and body firmness
Discuss the neck, abdomen or other body area you want to improve. We explain the proposed coverage and limitations. Treatment does not repair an abdominal hernia or muscle separation, and substantial excess skin may need a surgical opinion.
Combination planning
Skinvive, Juvelook, Lenisna or Rejuran may serve a different skin-quality or support goal. When there is a reason to combine approaches, your doctor explains sequence, recovery and cost. A larger combination is not automatically a better plan.
Benefits, expectations and review
The aim is a firmer, more supported appearance with a plan that suits your starting anatomy. We agree what to review before proceeding, including the area, photographs where appropriate and a follow-up interval. Results vary, and a non-surgical treatment should not be presented as equivalent to surgery.
Your appointment includes an assessment, discussion of the named device and cartridges, consent, treatment and aftercare. Tell the doctor about previous injectables, threads, surgery, implants and medical conditions. The planned depth, coverage and comfort measures are confirmed individually.

Detailed product guide
How CLASSYS ultrasound and radiofrequency approaches differ
Ultraformer MPT face cartridges
The manufacturer lists face cartridges at 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.5 mm. These are treatment depths, not interchangeable intensity levels. Your doctor selects the cartridge around the tissue and area being assessed.
Body cartridges
Body cartridges are listed at 6.0, 9.0 and 13 mm. Body contour and loose skin are different concerns, so the treatment target and expectations are explained before a plan is agreed. A body cartridge is not used simply because a patient wants a stronger facial treatment.
Booster handpiece
MPT includes circular-pattern Booster cartridges at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm. The Booster and linear handpieces use different delivery patterns. We explain the named tip, intended area and planned combination, rather than treating all Ultraformer sessions as identical.
VOLNEWMER radiofrequency
VOLNEWMER uses monopolar radiofrequency rather than focused ultrasound. The manufacturer describes 6.78 MHz energy, water cooling and a flexible tip design. As stated above, it is a planned addition at our clinic; appointments and fees will be confirmed when available.

The wider CLASSYS portfolio
CLASSYS also lists other platforms across ultrasound, radiofrequency and body technologies. A manufacturer’s catalogue is broader than the services offered at one clinic. We identify the actual device available for your appointment and explain how it relates to your skin, existing facial volume and goals.
The complete ten-cartridge system
Ultraformer MPT cartridges, pictured and explained
The manufacturer lists seven standard cartridges and three circular Booster cartridges. The number is the nominal focal depth, not a recommended setting for everyone. A consultation determines which depths and handpiece pattern fit your anatomy. A session does not need to use every tip.

1.5 mm face cartridge
A linear-handpiece depth option. The clinician matches the focus to tissue thickness and the treatment area.

2.0 mm face cartridge
A linear-handpiece depth option. The clinician matches the focus to tissue thickness and the treatment area.

3.0 mm face cartridge
A linear-handpiece depth option. The clinician matches the focus to tissue thickness and the treatment area.

4.5 mm face cartridge
A linear-handpiece depth option. The clinician matches the focus to tissue thickness and the treatment area.

6.0 mm body cartridge
A deeper body-handpiece option for an individually assessed body treatment. These depths are not a stronger facial treatment.

9.0 mm body cartridge
A deeper body-handpiece option for an individually assessed body treatment. These depths are not a stronger facial treatment.

13 mm body cartridge
A deeper body-handpiece option for an individually assessed body treatment. These depths are not a stronger facial treatment.

1.5 mm Booster cartridge
A circular-pattern Booster option. The chosen depth and delivery pattern complement a mapped plan rather than replacing an anatomical assessment.

3.0 mm Booster cartridge
A circular-pattern Booster option. The chosen depth and delivery pattern complement a mapped plan rather than replacing an anatomical assessment.

4.5 mm Booster cartridge
A circular-pattern Booster option. The chosen depth and delivery pattern complement a mapped plan rather than replacing an anatomical assessment.
What changes in Micro-Pulsed mode?
The MPT platform offers normal and micro-pulsed delivery. These modes change how ultrasound energy is distributed within the treatment pattern. The clinician also selects linear or circular coverage, depending on the handpiece. This makes treatment planning more specific than simply counting shots or choosing the deepest cartridge.
What does the Booster tip do?
The circular Booster approach changes the delivery pattern and coverage. It still uses focused ultrasound energy; it does not inject a skin booster, apply a filler or guarantee that a topical serum reaches deeper tissue. The doctor explains why it may be combined with linear treatment for a particular skin-quality or firmness goal.

Understanding CLASSYS® and your options
Technology becomes useful when it is matched to you
Ultraformer MPT uses focused ultrasound, with different handpieces and cartridges allowing the practitioner to plan treatment at selected tissue depths. The cartridge information above explains the manufacturer’s range. At consultation, we connect that technical detail to your goal: the area to treat, the tissue we are addressing and how the coverage is planned. You can ask us to explain any setting or cartridge name in straightforward language.
Face, eye-area and body assessment
We assess facial proportions, skin quality and the degree of laxity when discussing lifting and contour goals. The eye area receives a careful area-specific plan. Body discussions consider the size of the area, skin thickness and the change you would like to see. Your appointment plan explains the coverage and treatment approach for the agreed areas, rather than asking you to choose a cartridge or shot count on your own.
Explore the wider CLASSYS portfolio
The guide also introduces VOLNEWMER, the radiofrequency device planned for our clinic, alongside other manufacturer technologies. Ultrasound and radiofrequency deliver energy in different ways, which is why we explain the device and purpose clearly. VOLNEWMER information here describes the planned addition; we will confirm clinic availability before offering appointments. You can explore both official product pages and discuss how the current Ultraformer MPT service relates to your goals.
What a cartridge or tip tells you
Cartridge depths and handpiece names describe parts of the device system. The clinical plan connects them to the actual area, tissue and coverage being treated. For Ultraformer MPT, we explain which ultrasound approach is proposed and how the selected areas fit your lifting or firmness goals. For the planned VOLNEWMER addition, the guide shows the manufacturer’s different tips and radiofrequency approach. We welcome practical questions about the area, the appointment and the timing of review, and help you understand how the technology becomes an individual treatment plan.
