Juvelook for Acne Scars, Pores and Uneven Skin Texture
Juvelook combines immediate hydration support with gradual collagen stimulation for selected concerns involving texture, pores and atrophic acne scarring.
Acne can leave rolling, boxcar, ice-pick or mixed scars alongside enlarged pores, redness and uneven pigmentation. Because these scar patterns form at different depths, no single injectable or device can correct every type.
Acne scarring is not one single condition
Juvelook is a PDLLA–hyaluronic acid collagen-stimulating treatment. Its role is to support gradual remodelling and improve the appearance of skin texture rather than simply filling every scar.
How Juvelook may fit into an acne-scar plan
For suitable patients, Juvelook may be placed across areas of uneven texture or more precisely around selected atrophic scars. A doctor may adjust dilution, depth and technique according to scar type and tissue thickness.

Why combination treatment is sometimes needed
Deep tethered scars may need subcision to release fibrous attachments beneath the skin. Deeper volume loss may require a structural collagen stimulator such as Juvelook Volume (Lenisna) or hyper-diluted Radiesse. More superficial texture may be approached with Juvelook, microneedling, a peel or another treatment selected for the patient’s skin type.
For darker or pigmentation-prone skin, aggressive energy settings can increase the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation. A staged plan that respects the patient’s skin response is often preferable to an overly aggressive one-day treatment.
Can active acne be treated at the same time?
Active inflammatory acne should be assessed before scar treatment. Injecting across infected or actively inflamed areas may be inappropriate. Some patients first need a plan to control breakouts and protect the skin barrier before focusing on scars.
Realistic expectations
Collagen remodelling takes time and results differ according to scar severity, age, skin health and treatment plan. The objective is meaningful improvement, not the promise of completely scar-free skin.
Temporary redness, swelling, bruising and tenderness are possible. Less common complications must also be discussed before treatment. A doctor-led consultation is essential.
