How are lip fillers planned around you?

A good lip filler consultation starts with the change you want to see. That might be a clearer lip outline, softer differences between the upper and lower lip, or a little more fullness. The right plan depends on your starting shape and facial proportions, rather than a single style applied to everyone.

What does a doctor assess?

At London Finsbury Clinic, Dr. Eroglu carries out your consultation and treatment. He considers the lip border, Cupid’s bow, volume, symmetry and how your lips look during expression. You can explain what you like about your existing lips, what you would change and how subtle you want the result to be. Medical history, previous filler and any allergies are part of the discussion.

He has over eight years of experience in aesthetic medicine and three years as a CPD trainer teaching other practitioners lip filler injection techniques. Explore Dr. Eroglu’s background and bring questions about the proposed approach to your consultation.

How we approach comfort

We apply topical numbing cream to the lips and allow time for it to work before starting. The time and product are selected for your needs. A gentle touch, carefully selected injection technique and considered pace help minimise discomfort. We check how you feel throughout the appointment and can pause when needed. Sensation varies, so numbing does not mean a guarantee of a pain-free treatment.

Natural-looking does not mean one fixed amount

Hyaluronic acid filler can add support, volume and definition. More product is not automatically a better match for your face. Discuss your preferred finish and any concerns about looking overfilled before agreeing the amount and placement. Classic lip enhancement and Korean-inspired shaping are different aesthetic approaches that can be explored in the same consultation.

Understand the result and recovery

Early photographs may show swelling, bruising or redness. The settled result is assessed over the following weeks; duration and recovery differ between people. Infection, lumps and allergic reactions are possible, and rare blood-vessel complications can be serious. Your doctor explains the relevant risks and aftercare before you decide.
