IPL means intense pulsed light. Unlike a laser that delivers a particular wavelength, IPL uses filtered broad-spectrum light. Your doctor chooses the filter and pulse settings around your concern and skin.
Stellar M22 is the Lumenis light and laser platform used for personalised skin treatments. Its IPL component uses filtered broad-spectrum light for selected sun-related pigmentation, small visible facial vessels and redness. Your doctor chooses filters, pulse settings and cooling around your skin. The wider platform supports separate modules such as ResurFX fractional resurfacing and Nd:YAG lasers; these are different treatments and are not automatically included in the IPL appointment prices below.
Our King’s Cross clinic focuses on skin quality, collagen-supporting treatments and energy-based devices. Dr. Eroglu combines aesthetic and practitioner-training experience with clear explanations, careful preparation and personal care.
We take time to understand what matters to you, review your health and previous treatments, and explain why an option may suit your needs. Your comfort and safety take priority over proceeding with treatment. You can ask questions, consider the alternatives and make your decision without pressure.
Your plan explains the agreed coverage, expected changes and care afterwards. We aim for a considered improvement that respects your natural anatomy, with a clear reason for every treatment we recommend.

Know what is being used

The M22 platform is modular. IPL, ResurFX fractional laser and Nd:YAG applications are separate technologies. This page’s booking options are for IPL, so they should not be read as including every platform module or indication.
Filtered pulses are absorbed by selected targets such as melanin in benign pigmented marks or haemoglobin in small blood vessels. Your doctor explains which concern is being treated and the expected course of change.
Lumenis describes Optimal Pulse Technology as a way to control pulse-energy distribution, with filters and lightguides selected for different applications. Cooling and careful settings support treatment, together with your feedback and appropriate eye protection.
A plan for your skin
Discuss selected benign pigmentation, freckles and sun-related colour changes after your doctor reviews the marks.
IPL can be considered for selected vascular concerns, including small facial vessels and redness associated with rosacea.
Your doctor explains the precise area and coverage included in the selected session or course before treatment.
Ask about availability, suitable coverage and a separate plan. A general IPL package does not automatically cover every body area.
Inflammation, red marks, brown marks and indented scars are different. Your doctor explains where IPL fits and when another treatment is more appropriate.
ResurFX and other M22 modules serve distinct purposes. They are not included automatically in these IPL prices.
Your natural skin tone, recent tanning, medicines and previous pigment reactions help guide the filter, settings and preparation. A patch test may be recommended before a course.
Experience. Precision. A warm welcome.
Our doctor-led clinic combines skin-quality and device experience with practitioner-training expertise. We explain why an approach fits your concern.
We discuss sensitivity, prepare the area, use appropriate cooling and eye protection, and check how the light pulses feel throughout.
Know your selected area, course total and included care before treatment. Personal aftercare and complimentary skincare routine advice support your next steps.
Before. During. After.
Tell us what you would like to improve and bring details of earlier treatments, medicines, allergies and your home skincare. Your doctor assesses the skin, explains suitable options and agrees your plan before any treatment.
We prepare the selected areas, explain the treatment map and settings, and check your comfort throughout the energy-based treatment.
Leave with guidance on skincare, activity and when to review your response. Your complimentary skincare routine advice focuses on a manageable routine, moisturising and sun protection suited to your skin.
Temporary warmth, redness or swelling can occur. Treated brown pigment may darken before it sheds. Your doctor explains the expected skin response, gentle skincare and sun protection for your particular treatment.
Plan. Treat. Review.
Discuss the marks, redness or vessels you would like to improve. Your doctor reviews the skin and explains the proposed plan and any patch test.
The filter, treatment area and expected sensations are explained. Protective eyewear, appropriate cooling and personal feedback support the appointment.
Assess changes between visits and follow your aftercare. Your doctor explains the course spacing and whether maintenance fits your response.

Dr Eroglu changed my life, honestly. I had a dent from a bad steroid shot on the side of my face and he advised me appropriately and gave me a Lenisna PDLLA Injection. Within 6 months I had my life back, my confidence back and I am forever grateful. He knows what he is doing, and he is a great doctor and practitioner. I will be back soon to try a new treatment – maybe the Rejuran for my neck lines. Thank you Dr, you gave my confidence back and I am forever grateful <3
